For those new to Vipassana (Insight) meditation, this powerful practice helps cultivate deep awareness and compassion—starting with self-compassion. Skills are taught that gradually change our relationship to the mind and our relationship to our thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This practice gives rise to greater internal and external peace and reslience. The work is experiential and involves guided meditations, both silent sitting and walking, readings and talks as well as allows for time for questions and answers. The tradition draws upon Theravada Buddhism and Psychology.
